Impression, is a general term used by the publisher and advertiser in the realm of online marketing to measure how many times an ad is aired. Usually an advertisement is calculated on a scale per 1000 impressions or multiples thereof. For example an ad is worth $ 1 / 1000 impressions that means: the ad would be worth $ 1 each time a 1000 times running. Most workers are very concerned about online marketing impression data to estimate how large the budget and the effectiveness of an advertisement on the web.
